In this beginner-friendly workshop, you’ll learn the absolute essentials - casting on, the knit stitch, and binding off - while creating a simple, beautiful project you’ll be proud to take home.
No experience needed. If you’ve never held knitting needles before, you’re in exactly the right place.
Experienced students also welcome! If you want a refresher on the basics, want to retrain your tension, or want to join the class to seek help on your project, you are welcome to join this group as well.
What you’ll learn:
• How to cast on your stitches
• The knit stitch (the foundation of everything!), and purl stitch if you’re feeling adventurous
• How to bind off and finish your work
Your project:
A finished (or nearly finished) coaster, headband, or scarf
What you’ll get:
